                                                   Fundamental data from IB

My trading system is based on fundamental data and it would be nice if I can use it direcly in QS.

Now I want to describe my idea:

At first I need a correct Symbol database, therefore it would be great if you can update all basic information%u2019s like industry, sector, subsector, country and so on automatically via IB API, because if somebody want to compare the ticker with its industry it is essential to have correct data.

At next I want to filter my watch-list with some key ratios from IB.
Now you can get the data on two different ways.

1st Way: We get that information directly from IB, but the data are only correct at the moment of the transfer (quick and dirty)
2nd Way: Transfer the hole fundamental data from IB in a predefined interval and calculate the ratios in real-time.
I prefer the second way, because I think an update over all tickers takes too much time.
To make the calculation it is necessary to download all fundamental data from IB: Income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement, basic information%u2019s like Employees, common shares outstanding and floating .....

Thank you Christian but as already discussed in previous emails, Fundamental data integration with IB is not yet implemented. Not sure about the release date.
For now, please use "Symbol -> Auto Manage Symbols" to associated symbols with industry, sector and country data.
