I have been attempting to use the ASCII Import Tool to import a/several CVS file already on my computer which contains Forex Tick Data (Obtained from Dukascopy, via TickStory)
However, it appears to be attempting to import into the Quotes Database, not the Tick Database. How Do I specify the Target Database as the Ticks DB. The Import Source has:
Date Time Ask Price, Bid Price, Ask Volume, Bid Volume

How do I distintuish between Bid Price and Ask Price when importing?

Hi Steven,

You can specify the Tick database, by settings the "Time-frame" to "Tick" at the bottom of the ASCII Import control.

Note however that currently you will no be able to import ask/bid data (only last tick data).
Please contact us by email so that we can help you find a solution for this.

I have done that, however, setting the Time-Frame to "Tick", does not appear to change the fields available in the upper panel

It doesn't change the fields. Use Quotes -> Close and Quotes -> Volume.

Trading financial instruments, including foreign exchange on margin, carries a high level of risk and is not suitable for all investors. The high degree of leverage can work against you as well as for you. Before deciding to invest in financial instruments or foreign exchange you should carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience, and risk appetite. The possibility exists that you could sustain a loss of some or all of your initial investment and therefore you should not invest money that you cannot afford to lose. You should be aware of all the risks associated with trading and seek advice from an independent financial advisor if you have any doubts.
