A QuantShare user with a paid lifetime license can run the application offline (without internet connection).

The following instructions will show you how to lock a license to a computer. Once a license is locked to a computer, QuantShare no longer requires authentication.

Steps:

- Open QuantShare
- Select "Accounts" then "Application Settings"
- Select "License" tab
- Click on "Lock License" to lock the license to your computer (controls are enabled only when you have a lifetime license)

If you want to use QuantShare offline in another computer, you must unlock the license using the first computer ("Unlock License" button) then lock it again in the second computer.

Note:

You cannot use QuantShare offline in two different computers

Trading financial instruments, including foreign exchange on margin, carries a high level of risk and is not suitable for all investors. The high degree of leverage can work against you as well as for you. Before deciding to invest in financial instruments or foreign exchange you should carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience, and risk appetite. The possibility exists that you could sustain a loss of some or all of your initial investment and therefore you should not invest money that you cannot afford to lose. You should be aware of all the risks associated with trading and seek advice from an independent financial advisor if you have any doubts.
