Hello Azouz,

I am running a Task triggered Script, that sends me an email with Orders generated by my Portfolios.

...
foreach (QSOrder qsorder in NewPortfolioRun.Orders)
{
addmessage("log", " Neue QS Order: " + qsorder.Symbol + "," + qsorder.OrderOrigin + "," + qsorder.Shares + "," + qsorder.OrderType );
}
....

This is working fine with Market Orders, but how can I access the Stop- or Limit Price in case of Limit Orders?

Is there an Attribute LimitPrice in QSOrder?
Maybe you provide something like a UML-Diagram of QS-Objects?

Best Regards

Kevin

Hi Kevin,

You will not be able to get the stop/limit price.
In the script editor, you can click on the "Help" button at the bottom of the editor to display the list of all available functions and variables.

To get more options, you can write a money management script that would be executed each time the portfolio is run.

Hi Azouz,

maybe you could add the PendingPrices to the QSOrder-Class in the next Version?

In the meantime, can you explain how to pass the result of e.g. Orders.GetPendingBuyOrders() from MMScript, so I have access to it in the Task triggered Script?

Best Regards

Kevin

Ok we will do that.

The MMScript is something different than the Task triggered script. You cannot pass data directly.
What you can do for example, is have the MMScript generate a file containing the necessary information then read that file from the Task triggered script and use it the code.
