In Interactive Brokers connection help ,details on how to connect using TWS is given.May you provide details on how to connect using IB Gateway.
IB gateway use 40% less resource.

It is the same. Make sure you select the correct port in QuantShare settings.

IBGateway may use a different default PORT than TWS.
