Hi,

After running a "Combined Trading Systems" analysis, when clicking on any of the "Report" buttons on the results grid, the Reportit window opens momentarily but then the entire system just hangs and I have to quit and restart Quant Share.
Anyone else noticed this?

Thanks

Ed

Please wait until the process completes before clicking on "Report".

I wait for the Combined Trading System analyze function to complete but then when I click on a Report it never loads - I have waited several minutes. Then clicking on any window causes QuantShare to hang and it needs to be re-started.

Does this not occur when you try it? Does the report load correctly when "Report" button is clicked in the Combined Trading Systems window?

Suggestion 1: Show some loading bar/activity indicator when the Report is loading so the user has an idea of long it will take.
Suggestion 2: Clicking on a window while the report is loading should not cause the entire program to hang.

Incidentally, if I try to load a report from Simulator -> Tools -> Trading System Report, it loads fine

I 've also had 'hang' issues when I running 'too many' systems through the combined tool.

Unfortunately the issue I'm experiencing happens even if there is only one system run in the combined tool. The hang is only caused when I try and view the resulting report, not from just pressing the "Ananlyze" button

The QuantShare Team responded to my email with the following:

Hi,

The issue was caused by some trading systems where some calculations take a lot of time. This will be fixed in the next release. Thank you for reporting this.

Regards,
The QuantShare Team
