Hello - I'm running about 30 screeners via script.

Right now, I have them looping one at a time. each one can take up to 1-2min. Depending.

If I split the work into 6 scripts(5 screeners in each) and execute them at the same time via task mamager. Would their be any problems with the integrity of the data/database? I.e. several screeners overlap in the symbols list and multiple scripts would be accessing quotes data for the same symbols at the same time. Any issues or potential for erroneous data?

Hi,

There won't be any problem with integrity of the data. We have internal mechanisms that prevent reading or writing the database at the same time.

However, it is always a good idea to make a copy of your database (for other reasons).

Trading financial instruments, including foreign exchange on margin, carries a high level of risk and is not suitable for all investors. The high degree of leverage can work against you as well as for you. Before deciding to invest in financial instruments or foreign exchange you should carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience, and risk appetite. The possibility exists that you could sustain a loss of some or all of your initial investment and therefore you should not invest money that you cannot afford to lose. You should be aware of all the risks associated with trading and seek advice from an independent financial advisor if you have any doubts.
