I was playing with the trial version and deleted an indicator when I was trying to just delete the chart of it. How do I get it back. I tried to just download it again but it doesn't help.

Hi Dennis,

Here is how to add a trading indicator to a chart/pane:
http://www.quantshare.com/how-387-how-to-add-a-trading-indicator-to-a-chart

Let me know if you have any further question.

To set the default chart formula, click on the icon before "Select a symbol" combobox (Just below menu).

I see nothing labeled "menu". There is no icon before "select a symbol" or any clickable item before "select a symbol".
The add a indicator only seems to apply to adding new indicators not an indicator that was deleted from the list.

Again, is there anyway to start it over again from the original downloaded configuration? (delete some cookies or something??)

I meant the MENU. The one you see on the top (Accounts - Symbols - View...).
There is an icon just before "select a symbol". When you move your mouse over it, you will see "Set default formula for the selected chart".

If you want to get the original downloaded configuration, then create a fresh installation on ANOTHER directory. Or you can delete the current QuantShare directory then re-install QuantShare.

Trading financial instruments, including foreign exchange on margin, carries a high level of risk and is not suitable for all investors. The high degree of leverage can work against you as well as for you. Before deciding to invest in financial instruments or foreign exchange you should carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience, and risk appetite. The possibility exists that you could sustain a loss of some or all of your initial investment and therefore you should not invest money that you cannot afford to lose. You should be aware of all the risks associated with trading and seek advice from an independent financial advisor if you have any doubts.
