News can be plotted on a chart using the "Database Data" tool. This tool will plot dots on the bars where the news item occurred.
If you click on one of these dots then a tooltip with the news title and description will appears.

Steps:

- Download stock, ETF or Forex news data. For this, you can use one of the following trading items: Historical Stock Market News, Stock News from Articles, Bloggers, Columnists, Traders and Analysts, StockTwits, Forex Tweets, Euronext Paris - News Data
- Select "Tools" then "Database Data"
- Near "Database", select a news database (News databases are usually created automatically by download items such as the ones described above)
- At the bottom of the "Database Data" control, click on "Show Data on Chart".

You can specify whether to display lines or dots on a chart by clicking on "Settings" then "Edit Settings" at the bottom of the "Database Data" control.
In the Settings form, you can also update the color, back color and selection color.

When you click on a news item, the dot or line that is drawn on the chart and that corresponds to the news item will change its color to Red.

Note that you can plot news item on EOD and Intraday charts.

Before deciding to invest in financial instruments or foreign exchange you should carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience, and risk appetite. The possibility exists that you could sustain a loss of some or all of your initial investment and therefore you should not invest money that you cannot afford to lose.
