The manual refers to Support Vector Machine systems with Quantshare.
Is this currently supported, as it appears to be grayed out on my screen? Is there documentation on the differences within Quantshare vs NN.
Thanks!
Scott

The Support Vector Machine Algorithm is not implemented yet.
It is not currently in the short term to-do list because we have so many other features to implement.
Let me know if you really need the Support Vector Machine algorithm.

You do have a lot on you plate so I understand. I do not have a short term pressing need.
However, for what it is worth, in my readings to date, the quant trend appears to be finding more stable out of sample value from SVM modeling vs NN. Perhaps you have found differently?

Scott

I have also read good things about SVM, that is why I have planned to implement it.

Not for now but we will consider it once we complete the implementation of our long todo list.

Has SVM been implemented yet in QS?

Sorry but we are not planning to implement SVM now.
