Hi...I have found that a simple strategy based on the 52 week high-52 week low is pretty good. Here is the idea. Make a list of interesting stocks.
Calculate the their present state based on the 52 week high-52 week low. If the stock price is near the 52 week high, the number for the stock is 100.
If the stock is near the 52 week low, the number is 0. Examine the stocks near 0. Decide if they have the potential for a recovery. All of the bad news
has already taken place Most likely, with any good news, they will go up. Those are the stocks to buy. That's my theory. Check it out. Have fun.
PS...Yesterday, TWTR was one of my 0 stocks. This morning, it went up 10%

Hi...It looks like there are no responses to this question. I was hoping to get some people to test out this idea and see if it helped them make market decisions. Give it a try. Have fun. Allan

Trading financial instruments, including foreign exchange on margin, carries a high level of risk and is not suitable for all investors. The high degree of leverage can work against you as well as for you. Before deciding to invest in financial instruments or foreign exchange you should carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience, and risk appetite. The possibility exists that you could sustain a loss of some or all of your initial investment and therefore you should not invest money that you cannot afford to lose. You should be aware of all the risks associated with trading and seek advice from an independent financial advisor if you have any doubts.
