                                                   Point and Figure charting error

2021-02-07 16:18:27

Dear Sir,

I have noticed that there is error in point and figure charting engine. I have been using point and figure charting package and there is differences in how the chart looks despite exactly same settings. I am linking a PnF chart of VIVO as of 2/7/2021 with 3 box reversal and box size of 0.5.

Thank you very much

If you are using the traditional Chartcraft method of Point and Figure, the box size changes at different price levels...A 3 point reversal with a stock at 30,is much different than a 3 point reversal with a stock at 300.QS does not make an adjustment. A percent option might help,as QS offers that in Kagi and Renko

Trading financial instruments, including foreign exchange on margin, carries a high level of risk and is not suitable for all investors. The high degree of leverage can work against you as well as for you. Before deciding to invest in financial instruments or foreign exchange you should carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience, and risk appetite. The possibility exists that you could sustain a loss of some or all of your initial investment and therefore you should not invest money that you cannot afford to lose. You should be aware of all the risks associated with trading and seek advice from an independent financial advisor if you have any doubts.
