If you are interested in the Oman stock market and you would like to download historical end-of-day, then this is the item you need. This downloader retrieves historical EOD data for companies listed in the main Oman stock exchange (Muscat Securities Market). 147 symbols data are downloaded including three sector indexes (0001: Banks and investment, 0003: Industry, 0005: Services) and one market index (9999: MSM 30).

Some companies' historical data have no or few quotes. You can see how many quotes each company has, by creating a watchlist and then sorting the symbols by the number of quotes. The data, for the companies that have the most quotes, spans from the beginning of 2007 to present.

The downloader can download data for all the available period or for only the last week. After you open the download item and in order to get historical EOD data for all period, you just need to type the word 'all' in the text field under the 'period' tab. Type anything else (example: week) to download MSM securities historical data for the most recent week.

The 'Automatically add new symbol' option in the downloader is checked and thus unknown symbols are added inside your symbols database. However, you can download the list of symbols (Muscat Security Market symbols) to get the company titles with the symbol names.
