Screen for finding potential high volume momentum growth for the next day

Use this screen on any set of stock quotes. The idea is to find low priced stocks (price between 1 and 5) that experience a growth of volume and the volume is higher than the average volume for the last 50 days. The last criteria is that the close must be at least 3% higher than the yesterday's close. These criteria give the opportunity to find stocks that will go higher for at least 1 day more. Such an approach works for low priced stocks because momentum works best for stocks with low prices and small or micro caps (low priced stocks tend to have smaller market caps). Possible an updated version of the screen will include some fundamental criteria. Until then - enjoy!

Trading financial instruments, including foreign exchange on margin, carries a high level of risk and is not suitable for all investors. The high degree of leverage can work against you as well as for you. Before deciding to invest in financial instruments or foreign exchange you should carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience, and risk appetite. The possibility exists that you could sustain a loss of some or all of your initial investment and therefore you should not invest money that you cannot afford to lose. You should be aware of all the risks associated with trading and seek advice from an independent financial advisor if you have any doubts.
