I want to do the following and not sure how to do this. Can you please help.

I have a custom db that stores fundamental data, but is downloaded once a week (eg P/B ratio). The fundamental data matches to the stock close price on the day the fundamental data was donwloaded. I want to get the stock close price for the corresponding day so that I can run some appropriate scaling for days that the fundamental data was missing?

What do you want to get if there are no quotes for a corresponding fundamental item date? (The last available stock close price?)

Yes, the previous close would be appropriate.

The following formula returns the close price on fundamental item dates, otherwise it returns 0.

iff(GetData("fundamental", "item", Zero) != 0, close, 0)

Trading financial instruments, including foreign exchange on margin, carries a high level of risk and is not suitable for all investors. The high degree of leverage can work against you as well as for you. Before deciding to invest in financial instruments or foreign exchange you should carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience, and risk appetite. The possibility exists that you could sustain a loss of some or all of your initial investment and therefore you should not invest money that you cannot afford to lose. You should be aware of all the risks associated with trading and seek advice from an independent financial advisor if you have any doubts.
