I have seen no examples or documentation that I could use to help understand the DownloaderTask functions and to see whether I could use the DownloadData function to specify an internal list (e.g. a watchlist) to download data for.
Is this possible ?
Also is there an API reference for DownloadTask functions ?

Thanks
Dev

Hi Dev,

Note that DownloaderTask is just a class to check the progress of the downloading process.
Here is an example of how to use DownloadData to download symbols in a specific watchlist.

String[] symbols = Watchlist.GetSymbols("Watchlist Name");
DownloaderTask task = Downloader.DownloadData("", "downloader name", false, symbols, null);
while(!task.IsCompleted)
{
App.Main.Sleep(1000);
}

// Downloading completed

Before deciding to invest in financial instruments or foreign exchange you should carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience, and risk appetite. The possibility exists that you could sustain a loss of some or all of your initial investment and therefore you should not invest money that you cannot afford to lose. You should be aware of all the risks associated with trading and seek advice from an independent financial advisor if you have any doubts.
