I have noticed that since Since some weeks ago, your sharing servers is becaming more and more really extremely low, being almost impossible to download
american quotes and others from them. Take me now long hours to download and never finishes. I am a lifetime user, how can i solve that problem ?

This has nothing to do with the sharing server. The downloaders you are using get data directly from a data provider (such as Yahoo)

I've noticed that the speed of the downloaders can vary depending on time of day. the slowest time seemed to be on weekends. I am assuming this is because a lot of traders update their stock databases for the previous week on the weekend. I always do my EOD and intraday downloads each trading day.....about 3-4 hours after the market closes. they both finish easily under 1/2 hour for updating 4900 stocks. MAKE SURE you UPDATE your threat settings in each download. before I changed my thread from 1 to 10, each downloader was probably taking 3-4 hours each. I have a quad core i-5 computer. so it's probably a good 7 or 8 years old. a newer computer might be able to run these downloaders in 5 minutes or less.

Trading financial instruments, including foreign exchange on margin, carries a high level of risk and is not suitable for all investors. The high degree of leverage can work against you as well as for you. Before deciding to invest in financial instruments or foreign exchange you should carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience, and risk appetite. The possibility exists that you could sustain a loss of some or all of your initial investment and therefore you should not invest money that you cannot afford to lose. You should be aware of all the risks associated with trading and seek advice from an independent financial advisor if you have any doubts.
