Hi,

I have tried to import a large csv file (230 mb). This seems to freeze my computer. I believe the import process use too much ram (~ 1GB?).

The solution I found was to split the big file into smaller chunks, which works fine, except that I have to import each one manually.

Is there a way to import multiple individual files automatically, or via script?
*Note that adding all the files to the 'import list' will cause the same freezing issue as having one big file. *

cheers.

Hi,

We have made a change in the code and you should be able to import a 200mb file now.
The change will be available in the next release

Cool!

The same problem also occurs with a large number of small files. Will the change also fix this?

cheers.

Trading financial instruments, including foreign exchange on margin, carries a high level of risk and is not suitable for all investors. The high degree of leverage can work against you as well as for you. Before deciding to invest in financial instruments or foreign exchange you should carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience, and risk appetite. The possibility exists that you could sustain a loss of some or all of your initial investment and therefore you should not invest money that you cannot afford to lose. You should be aware of all the risks associated with trading and seek advice from an independent financial advisor if you have any doubts.
