Hello,

I run a 6 core Intel i7 980x and i'm currently running the 30day trial. I have a few quesitons around system performance and limitations in respect to hardware/resource utilization.....

-QS doesn't seem to beable to efficently and effectivly use my CPU and RAM. I've found that this platform doesn't leverage my resources as well as others I've used. Are you planning on tuning this, or are there setting I can adjust to make this more effective?

- Do you plan to increase the limit of iterations for testing?
- Do you offer a 60-bit version? Do you plan to?
- Do you plan to offer CUDA enabled array calculations?

Thank you very much,
Jon

Hi Jon,

- Do you plan to increase the limit of iterations for testing?

Which limitation are you referring to?
Please note that the AI optimizer (PBIL) and trading system optimizer (Update Trading System -> Settings -> More Settings) offer multithreading capabilities.

- Do you offer a 64-bit version? Do you plan to?

Yes, we plan to offer a 64-bit version soon.

- Do you plan to offer CUDA enabled array calculations?

Not plans for that yet.

Thanks so much. The work you all have done is great.

It looks like there is a max number iterations in backtesting, trading system optimizer and AI versions...

I though a popup said something like 1,600,000?

Yes, this is because of memory issues.

The 64-bit version should have no limitations.

Great. Thanks. I REALLY look forward to that. Do you have a ETA on 64-bit?

Sorry, no release yet for the 64-bit version. Still working on the real time version.
We will do our best to implement the 64-bit version in the next few months.

Trading financial instruments, including foreign exchange on margin, carries a high level of risk and is not suitable for all investors. The high degree of leverage can work against you as well as for you. Before deciding to invest in financial instruments or foreign exchange you should carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience, and risk appetite. The possibility exists that you could sustain a loss of some or all of your initial investment and therefore you should not invest money that you cannot afford to lose. You should be aware of all the risks associated with trading and seek advice from an independent financial advisor if you have any doubts.
