Hi, I've been using QS for more than half year. Now, I'm totally dependent on it . I'd like to know if I can have two computers ( both installed QS and make data in sync ) so that I don't have long downtime if something happen to my QS?
Also, any guideline to backup the whole system would be great.
Thanks in advance!

Please read the following instructions on how to sync data and how to backup it.

But please note that you cannot run two instances of QuantShare at the same time (on different computers). For this, you should get a second license.

I am running QS from SkyDrive so I can confirm it works. The only tricky part is once you place the QS folder in the SkyDrive folder, one needs to open QS, go to change accounts and change the accounts locations from C:\Users\UserName\SkyDrive\CTrading\QuantShare\Database\MyFirstAccount
to
Database\MyFirstAccount

You can install QuantShare in any location and just place the database files in a dropbox or skydrive folder.

Example: QuantShare placed in:
C:\Program Files\CTrading\QuantShare

And the database path in:
C:\Users\UserName\SkyDrive\MyQuantShareAccount

Trading financial instruments, including foreign exchange on margin, carries a high level of risk and is not suitable for all investors. The high degree of leverage can work against you as well as for you. Before deciding to invest in financial instruments or foreign exchange you should carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience, and risk appetite. The possibility exists that you could sustain a loss of some or all of your initial investment and therefore you should not invest money that you cannot afford to lose. You should be aware of all the risks associated with trading and seek advice from an independent financial advisor if you have any doubts.
