                                                   Error/Failure when adding a time-based task

I've created a simple time-based task that triggers every five minutes, from 08:00 through 23:55, Monday through Friday. But when I add (or update) the task, I get a pop-up error (see screenshot). I click OK and then it says "Task updated". But the task never runs and the Task Manager shows the task but with no "Next run time". Any thoughts on what might be going wrong here?

Bump. I'd really like to make use of scheduled events.

The error also triggers when QuantShare starts up. The QuantShare v3.7.0 loading banner says, "Loading plugin : TaskManager". The pop-up says, "Error 21544: (1733,7): CalendarTrigger:". I click on OK and QuantShare continues loading.

Try to reduce the number of minutes (set it to 0 only) and see if this works. Also try using a single hour and see if that helps.
I am not sure what is causing this but in some Windows versions, some users have reported similar issue.

Success! I was able to schedule an event at two different times per hour before it triggered the error. So for a script to fire off every five minutes (during market hours), it looks like I'll have to... schedule it across six tasks? Okay. I think I can live with the workaround.

Thanks for the assist!

Trading financial instruments, including foreign exchange on margin, carries a high level of risk and is not suitable for all investors. The high degree of leverage can work against you as well as for you. Before deciding to invest in financial instruments or foreign exchange you should carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience, and risk appetite. The possibility exists that you could sustain a loss of some or all of your initial investment and therefore you should not invest money that you cannot afford to lose. You should be aware of all the risks associated with trading and seek advice from an independent financial advisor if you have any doubts.
