Downloader will not allow more than 1 thread

I'm trying to use the default "LSE - UK - EOD data" downloader, but I cannot increase the number of threads beyond 1. The up and down arrows next to the box don't do anything, and whatever I type into the box is immediately changed back to 1 when I click somewhere else.

Is this a bug? Or a limitation of the shareware version?

Hi Simon,

The maximum number of threads is defined in the downloader settings.
You can update this by following the next steps:
- Select the downloader
- Click on "Update"
- Click on the "Download Settings" button (at the bottom)
- Update the maximum number of threads field

Thanks Simon, you asked very important thing, and thanks to QS for the prompt reply. I have another doubt, how many threads we can use at a time? I tried 93, it took and could download data very fast, but later it was showing 16.Does this mean it can max take 16 threads? Another question is that, if I am using a script to run the downloader (say google sacipt to get 1min data for NSE stocks) automatically after every few minutes, how do I ensure that it is using say...16 threads at a time?

Currently:
- Maximum number of threads: 16
- Maximum threads when downloading data using a script: 1

Next release:
- Maximum number of threads: 20
- Maximum threads when downloading data using a script: 20

The script will use the downloader thread settings.

Are these numbers still the same ? Or can I use more than 20 threads now ?
