Placing trades is not yet possible. Sorry for the delay but we don't know yet when this feature will be released.

I realize it is just the BETA version, but I'm unable to connect to IB to get realtime quotes using the realtime QS. Using the 32-bit realtime version of QS, I get a message that says I need to install the IB API first, but the program locks up at that point. Is there a special installation file to get the real-time data to work with IB?

If it doesn't work then install the IB API here:

If you still have problems, please contact support by email.

When I worked with futures symbols on IB, I was getting this error, "No security definition has been found for the request (Code:200)". Finally, the problem was solved when I have updated the 'multiplier' field in Symbol-->Update Symbol with number '1' for the futures contracts.

Trading financial instruments, including foreign exchange on margin, carries a high level of risk and is not suitable for all investors. The high degree of leverage can work against you as well as for you. Before deciding to invest in financial instruments or foreign exchange you should carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience, and risk appetite. The possibility exists that you could sustain a loss of some or all of your initial investment and therefore you should not invest money that you cannot afford to lose. You should be aware of all the risks associated with trading and seek advice from an independent financial advisor if you have any doubts.
