Madrid Stock Exchange

The Madrid Stock Exchange (Bolsa de Madrid) is a regional stock exchange in Spain. It is part of the Bolsas y Mercados Españoles (BME) group and is the largest Spanish stock exchange. BME group also includes the Barcelona, Bilbao, Madrid and Valencia stock exchanges, MF Mercados Financieros and Iberclear. The Madrid stock exchange lists shares, investment funds, warrants, convertible bonds, fixed income securities and government/private debt. The Spain stock market settlement period is T+3.

The principle index of Bolsa de Madrid is the IGBM, which stands for the Madrid Stock Exchange General Index. The IGBM represents several sectors including communications, financial services, energy...
The IBEX-35 is another index that includes the most liquid Spanish stocks (35 stocks). The IBEX-35 is a capitalization-weighted index.

This list of ticker symbols of companies listed on the Madrid Stock Exchange or Bolsa de Madrid is retrieved from the exchange website (bolsamadrid.es). This list can be used with following item (Madrid Stock Exchange - Historical Data), which downloads historical end-of-day quotes for all stocks available in this list.
