Wikinancial is a website designed to help traders and investors get more information about their favorite stocks. By letting its members share their stock picks, Wikinancial can analyze and measure the sentiment of each stock (whether the stock is bullish or bearish) by calculating the number of long and short position for each one of them.
Users of Wikinancial are from several countries, including United States, Russian Federation, Brazil, Cuba, Hong Kong, Spain, Ukraine, Italy, Nigeria, Portugal, France, China and Kuwait.
The list of best US Players/traders can be found here:
http://www.wikinancial.com/group-United%20States-country.html
This list contains the best performing traders with their portfolio net value and the number of picks they have done.

The list of best traders in the world can be found here:

This trading item allows you to follow picks (and download historical data of these picks) of any Wikinancial member. Simply select the player name, open the downloader and type its name in the "Player" field. You can add one or several players. The downloader will create a custom historical database that has the following fields: Player or the member name, Price at which the stock was bought or sold, Trade type or whether the trade was long or short. It will then get RSS data for each player, associate picks data to the appropriate stocks and insert the trade/pick details in the custom database, whose name is "wikinancial".

Once the data is stored in the database you can access it using QuantShare or .Net language.
Here is an example of a trading rule that returns 1 on bars where the player "bubba" has picked the analyzed stock.
rule = GetDataStringCount("wikinancial", "player", "bubba") == 1;

Trading financial instruments, including foreign exchange on margin, carries a high level of risk and is not suitable for all investors. The high degree of leverage can work against you as well as for you. Before deciding to invest in financial instruments or foreign exchange you should carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience, and risk appetite. The possibility exists that you could sustain a loss of some or all of your initial investment and therefore you should not invest money that you cannot afford to lose. You should be aware of all the risks associated with trading and seek advice from an independent financial advisor if you have any doubts.
