Hello everybody
I am currently Beta Testing Quantshare 'Real Time' and looking to trade Forex. I am using the Forexlite intraday feed and I have found that although Forexlite list symbols such as "AUDCAD" as supported, it is not actually updating in real-time where I normally see the "time until next bar" appear on the bottom left hand side of the chart.
Can anybody here recommend other real time Forex data feeds? I could potentially switch to the Finam data feed?
Another question:
Howcome I can backtest using Forex data using my intra-day data feed (Forexlite) although it does not provide real-time data? Is it that the Forexlite data feed is delayed?
Thanks :-)

Hi,
Which "Forexlite intraday feed" are you referring to?
Are you referring to the Forexlite downloader that is available in the sharing server?
If yes, then this item is a data downloader. It is not a real time data feed (like the Forex Live feed).

"Are you referring to the Forexlite downloader that is available in the sharing server?"
Yes I am so that would explain why it doesn't provide real time data.
I have found that although Forexlite list symbols such as "AUDCAD" as supported, it is not actually updating in real-time where I normally see the "time until next bar" appear on the bottom left hand side of the chart.
Do you know why that is? I have allocated the symbol to the "Currencies" group?
Finally do you know of any real-time forex data feed providers who would be compatible with Quantshare?
Thanks for your help.

As I said the Forexlite isn't a real time data provider, so you cannot see "time until next bar" appear on the bottom left hand side of the chart.
Any real-time forex data feed that supports DDE can be used with QuantShare.

Ok thanks. Do you think there will be a time when Quantshare can directly interface with a broker account or directly connect to MT4/MT5 (Metatrader)?

Of course yes. We will also implement an interface to send orders directly to Metatrader.

Implementing an interface to send orders directly to Metatrader sounds fantastic. I look forward to seeing this when it is available. Thank you Quantshare.

The metatrader tool will be implemented in one or two months probably.
The Forex feed is still working. Can you describe your problem to our support by email?

The only way is to export real time data from Metatrader via DDE, then create a DDE connection in QuantShare to read this data (Accounts -> Connections)

Hi Quansthare team . Check this https://blog.darwinex.com/zeromq-transaction-reporting-metatrader-zmq3/
