Hi there.
It appears whenever I do a daily download for EOD data,I have to wait for the following day to get the previous days data.Is there a 1 day lag,or am I
using the wrong downloader..Is Yahoo the reccomended option??

Hi Allan
I had a similar problem where I would download data using the "Yahoo EOD quotes" downloader, and it would only appear to download the previous days data (even though the data was correct for the current EOD, the date assigned was incorrect)
I corrected this via the following

This may be related to your issue.

Hi Allan
Ah, the change I suggested was for data coming from exchanges whose GMT offset was greater than 8, like Australia and NZ. I have a single account with multiple exchange symbols, including Australia and NZ as well as key US market index's (Australia and NZ are only ~2400 symbols so quite manageable), the dates for my US components are correct when downloaded, I download AU and NZ data the morning of the following day as at this time the US markets have just closed, in NZ we are around 16 hours ahead of New York . I'm not quite sure what is going on with your situation.
Regards
David
