ISE index options list

This is a list of index options symbols listed in the International securities exchange (ISE). ISE introduced index options in October 2003 and it was the first time indexes were traded fully electronically.

This ISE symbol list also contains sector indexes that track the performance of publicity traded companies in different industries. Example: Banks, Nanotechnologies, Semiconductors, Homebuilders, Oil and Gaz.

The ISE or International securities exchange is the world's largest equity options exchange and list over 2000 options for stocks, ETF, Index and FX. ISE is also the first exchange where only electronic trading is available. This exchange is regulated by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and is a member of the Options Clearing Corporation (OCC).

Example of symbols:
ISE 250 (IXZ) - The ISE 250 Index tracks the top 250 U.S. stocks trading on the NYSE, AMEX, and NASDAQ.
ISE Electronic Trading Index (DMA) - The ISE Electronic Trading index establishes a unique benchmark for a specialty sector within financial services.
ISE Long Gold Index (HVY) - The ISE Long Gold Index includes companies that own or operate gold mines, or are involved in the production of gold and related products.
ISE ChIndia Index (ICK) - The ChIndia index is a benchmark for investors seeking exposure to stocks domiciled in the two most populous countries in the world.
