Dubai Financial Market Historical data

This item downloads historical quotes data (EOD - end-of-day) for stocks listed in the Dubai Financial Market. Some sectors and indexes historical data are downloaded as well, example: The DFM Index - Dubai Financial Market Index.

The current item is similar the Saudi Historical data downloader (Historical EOD data for Saudi stocks), that is, to download historical data for the all period (Some stocks has historical data that goes back to 2006), type the word 'all' in the text field under the 'period' tab, otherwise type anything else to download historical for the last week only.

Unlike the Saudi Downloader, the data downloaded for Dubai Financial Market stocks is not very clean and thus I have create a Post-Script that reject quotes that have an open, close, high or low price value equal to zero. As a result, several stocks' data were not downloaded, but the data appears to be much cleaner.

The unrecognized symbols are automatically added to your symbol list, but you can download the listed of symbols for companies listed in the Dubai Financial Market at the following location (Dubai Financial Market ticker symbols). This list includes the ticker symbols and the company titles (for some of them).

Trading financial instruments, including foreign exchange on margin, carries a high level of risk and is not suitable for all investors. The high degree of leverage can work against you as well as for you. Before deciding to invest in financial instruments or foreign exchange you should carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience, and risk appetite. The possibility exists that you could sustain a loss of some or all of your initial investment and therefore you should not invest money that you cannot afford to lose. You should be aware of all the risks associated with trading and seek advice from an independent financial advisor if you have any doubts.
