The DFM or Dubai Financial Market is a stock exchange based in Dubai and located in the Trade Center Building. The market capitalization of companies listed on the DFM is about the same as the market capitalization of companies that trade in the Abu Dhabi Securities Market (2007).
The current item downloads historical EOD data for companies listed on the DFM. The item gets data for 75 symbols. This includes 65 stocks and 10 indices. The indices are: Dubai Financial Market (DFM), Banking Index (DFM.13), Insurance Index (DFM.14), Investment & Financial Services Index (DFM.72), Real Estate & Construction Index (DFM.73), Transportation Index (DFM.82), Materials Index (DFM.83), Consumer Staples Index (DFM.84), Telecommunication Index (DFM.85) and the Utilities Index (DFM.86).
One-year worth of end-of-day data is downloaded for these 75 ticker symbols (252 trading days). The trading item is very easy to use; click on "Open" then "Start" to begin the downloading process.
Ticker symbols, as well as the title of the companies, are automatically added to the EOD database.
