Dear Sir/Madam,
The downloaded Hong Kong Exchanges were missing some symbols. I manually added some of them, but were unabled to download the data for it.
It said No Data available. Is there a way to download the quotes for the newly added symbols? Thanks.

It said No Data available because the data provider didn't recognize these symbols.
Are you using the Yahoo downloader? what is the name of the download item you are using?

No, i am not. The item name is The Hong Kong Stock Exchange and Hong Kong Stock Exchange - historical data

This above downloader is worst than the previous one . It couldn't recognize more symbols than before.

I have created a new account with symbols from Hong Kong Stock Exchange and download data using Historical Stock Quotes Data for more than 50 Exchanges (with the "HK" suffix in the stock exchange suffix tab).
Almost 100% of the symbols were recognized.
Please send me some symbols that were not recognized so I can verify here.

Hi,
I were able to downloaded all the symbols historical data, 1355 of them. What I want to add more symbol to it, that's not in that list.
Example 2800, 0930, 1006 etc. These are some of the symbol not in the list of 1355. If there a way to do it? or it's just the Hong Kong Exchange does not provide those data.

If the data for these symbols is available in Yahoo, then you can use this item to download them.
Just add these symbols (Symbol -> Add)
I just added 2800, 0930, 1006 and I was able to download EOD data for these stocks using Historical Stock Quotes Data for more than 50 Exchanges

I just tried added symbol 2800, and no data available when downloaded. I wish i could capturedthe screen dump for you. Is there an e-mail that I could send the screen dump for you to see. A picture is worth a thousand words.
