Hi I%u2019m a complete novice in programming, can someone help to create a screener. I%u2019m trying to create a screener were stocks show up if today the stochastics slow D crossed the K line. I can%u2019t get a grip on it.
Would it also be possible to create a variable for today, and look 1 to 5 days back, to see which stocks had a cross over last week?

Hi Charles,

The rule for "stochastics slow D crossed the slow K line" is:
rule1 = cross(StochSlowd(5,3,_MaSma,3,_MaSma), StochSlowk(5,3,_MaSma));

To return stocks whose "rule1" was true at least once in the last five trading bars:
filter = hhv(rule1, 5) > 0;

Trading financial instruments, including foreign exchange on margin, carries a high level of risk and is not suitable for all investors. The high degree of leverage can work against you as well as for you. Before deciding to invest in financial instruments or foreign exchange you should carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience, and risk appetite. The possibility exists that you could sustain a loss of some or all of your initial investment and therefore you should not invest money that you cannot afford to lose. You should be aware of all the risks associated with trading and seek advice from an independent financial advisor if you have any doubts.
