Hi guys

I am new to Quantshare so sorry for my ignorance. I would like to review the outcome of some trades I made on the 15th/16th with IG.com. I need Intraday data at the lowest resolution possible but minimum per minute. Primarily I want to review big losses I made on the DAX30 but some others too. My first question is, how can I download the historical Index data? The second is, can I recreate the trade to review the outcome based on the actual market movements and not IG's?

Thanks in advance to anyone that can offer some advice!

Darren

Dear Darren,

you might want to look at the Times&Sales information from the Stock Exchange, which on the DAX30 you might get here for instance:
https://www.wallstreet-online.de/indizes/dax/times-and-sales
The URL is in German, let me know if you need assistance.
Please note, that the information is only available for the last 10 days or so, thus use the export functionality.

Cheers,
Jrgen

Trading financial instruments, including foreign exchange on margin, carries a high level of risk and is not suitable for all investors. The high degree of leverage can work against you as well as for you. Before deciding to invest in financial instruments or foreign exchange you should carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience, and risk appetite. The possibility exists that you could sustain a loss of some or all of your initial investment and therefore you should not invest money that you cannot afford to lose. You should be aware of all the risks associated with trading and seek advice from an independent financial advisor if you have any doubts.
