Import a List of Symbols

Updated on 2010-12-06

To import a list of symbols, select "Symbol" then "Import symbols from a file".

In the new form, type the data separator then click on "Load File" to select the file that contains your list of symbols.

If you have a classic CSV file. Example:
A;Agilent
GOOG;Google
MSFT;Microsoft

Then type semi-colon as the data separator.

In the grid first line, double click on a cell to assign a type to each column. Using our previous example, the first column is "name", while the second column is "fullname".

Once done, click on "Create List" to create a list of symbols.

Now, you need to add symbols inside this list into your account.

Select "Symbol" then "Add-Remove from list of symbols". Click on "Select List" then select the previously created list. Finally click on "Add" to add the symbols

Trading financial instruments, including foreign exchange on margin, carries a high level of risk and is not suitable for all investors. The high degree of leverage can work against you as well as for you. Before deciding to invest in financial instruments or foreign exchange you should carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience, and risk appetite. The possibility exists that you could sustain a loss of some or all of your initial investment and therefore you should not invest money that you cannot afford to lose. You should be aware of all the risks associated with trading and seek advice from an independent financial advisor if you have any doubts.
