Toronto Stock Exchange

The "Toronto Stock Exchange" item includes symbols of companies that are listed in the TSX, as well as the S&P TSX Composite index. The Toronto Stock Exchange, TSX, is the largest stock exchange in Canada and is the third largest in North America (by market capitalization). It is based in Toronto and is owned by TMX Group Inc.

The current ticker list contains 1444 symbols, while the total number of companies traded in the TSX is about four thousands. The TSX main index is the S&P TSX Composite, it includes the largest companies as measured by market capitalization and it has the following symbol 'GSPTSE'.
