Kuwait Stock Exchange

The Kuwait Stock Exchange is one of the largest stock exchanges in the Persian Gulf region. In fact, it is the second biggest stock exchange in the Middle East of Asia, just after the Saudi Stock Exchange. The exchange is located in the State of Kuwait, and it was created in 1962 when the Royal Decree was passed on constructing Kuwait Stock Exchange.

Each company listed in the Kuwait Stock Exchange belongs to one of the following sectors:
Banking, Investment, Insurance, Real Estate, Industrial, Services, Food, Non Kuwaities, Mutual Funds and Parallel Market.

The current list of ticker symbols contains 236 ticker symbols; the data includes the company ID (stock ID) and the company ticker name. Historical EOD quotes data can be downloaded for these companies with the following downloader: Kuwait Stock Exchange - Historical EOD data
