The SIX Swiss Exchange is part of the SIX Group. The exchange is based in Zürich and it is the principal stock exchange in Switzerland. Securities like bonds, ETFs and derivatives are also traded in this exchange. The exchange is closed on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. The normal trading session starts at 09:00 am and ends at 05:30 pm.

Currently, there are 347 companies listed in the SIX Swiss Exchange, some of them are foreign companies (United States, Germany, France, Great Britain...).
I have got the current list of symbols directly from the exchange website (www.six-swiss-exchange.com), the list contains the following fields:
Symbol: The company ticker symbol.
Symbol name2: The company ISIN number.

Industry: the Company's industry.

The SIX Swiss Exchange main index (blue-chip index) is the SMI (Swiss Market Index); it consists of the companies with the highest flat market capitalization.

Trading financial instruments, including foreign exchange on margin, carries a high level of risk and is not suitable for all investors. The high degree of leverage can work against you as well as for you. Before deciding to invest in financial instruments or foreign exchange you should carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience, and risk appetite. The possibility exists that you could sustain a loss of some or all of your initial investment and therefore you should not invest money that you cannot afford to lose. You should be aware of all the risks associated with trading and seek advice from an independent financial advisor if you have any doubts.
