The New York Stock Exchange, NYSE, website provides daily summaries of corporate actions. The report includes the number of splits declared, the number of effective splits, the number of dividends declared and the number of dividends paid by all U.S. companies listed on the NYSE and AMEX exchanges and for each trading day.

The data is only available for the last 15 trading days.
After being downloaded by this item, it is stored in different symbols.
Here is the list of symbols created by this item:
^NYSE_Splits_declared: The number of splits declared in a particular date. A split is a corporate action that increases the number of shares in a company, while a reverse split has the opposite effect, it decreases the number of shares in a company. During a split, the price of the stock is adjusted such as the market capitalization of the company remains the same.
^NYSE_Splits_effective: The number of splits performed in a particular date
^NYSE_Dividends_declared: The number of dividends declared in a particular date. Dividends are portion of company profits that are paid out to stockholders. The profit a company earns can be re-invested in the business or it can be used as a dividend to pay stockholders.
^NYSE_Dividends_paid: The number of dividends paid in a particular date

The NYSE website provides also several other reports and time-series to download.
The NYSE Index Closes item creates several indices and fills them with historical data.
The NYSE Arca - Daily short sale data item download short selling data of companies listed in the NYSE. This data includes the short volume, the total volume and the percentage of short volume for each stock.
The NYSE Margin Debt item gets the amount of money borrowed by investors to buy NYSE listed stocks, the free credit cash accounts and the credit balances in margin accounts.
The NYSE - Trading Volume item retrieves different volume statistics.
