However, you first need first to change the composite formula. In the first line, the 'GetData' function gets the short selling data from a custom database. Each one of the above downloaders store its data in a different database and thus in order to cope with this, you just need to set the first argument of the function to the database name.
As an example, the downloader - Short Selling Data - saves short selling data into a database whose name is 'short_selling'.
The original formula is:
composite = GetData('short_selling', 'short', LastData);
If you want to create a composite indicator using data provided by the downloader: NYSE Arca - Daily short sale data. The formula would become:
composite = GetData('nyse_short_volume', 'short', LastData);
This is because the NYSE short sale data downloader saves its data into the 'nyse_short_volume' database.
Trading financial instruments, including foreign exchange on margin, carries a high level of risk and is not suitable for all investors. The high degree of leverage can work against you as well as for you. Before deciding to invest in financial instruments or foreign exchange you should carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience, and risk appetite. The possibility exists that you could sustain a loss of some or all of your initial investment and therefore you should not invest money that you cannot afford to lose. You should be aware of all the risks associated with trading and seek advice from an independent financial advisor if you have any doubts.
