The Brussels Stock Exchange is the main stock exchange of Belgium. It is based on Brussels and founded in 1801. After the merger that occurred between Brussels Stock Exchange (BSE), Paris Stock Exchange, Amsterdam Stock Exchange and Lisbon Stock Exchange, the BSE was renamed to Euronext Brussels.

Here are the URLs where you can download list of symbols for the exchanges that are part of Euronext. French Euronext Symbols - Liste des entreprises francaise coté ŕ l'Euronext, Amsterdam stock exchange, Lisbon Stock Exchange.

This list of symbols contains all stocks (229 companies) that trade in the Brussels Stock Exchange or Euronext Brussels. The list contains also additional information about these companies: The ISIN number, the Euronext code number, the yahoo-compatible symbol name, the company's title, the company's industry, the company's currency and the company's country.

The yahoo-compatible symbol name is used by Yahoo EOD historical quotes to download historical data for these companies. This downloader works very well with this list of symbols and almost all the stocks listed here are recognized by this yahoo item.

Trading financial instruments, including foreign exchange on margin, carries a high level of risk and is not suitable for all investors. The high degree of leverage can work against you as well as for you. Before deciding to invest in financial instruments or foreign exchange you should carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience, and risk appetite. The possibility exists that you could sustain a loss of some or all of your initial investment and therefore you should not invest money that you cannot afford to lose. You should be aware of all the risks associated with trading and seek advice from an independent financial advisor if you have any doubts.
