Hello,

I just installed the trading software.
Right now every chart I want to have a look at says "No quotes on GBPUSD" (for instance)
There were no problems during the installation, I even got to see some charts, but right now it just doesn't work!

The software seems to be great and quite powerful, thats why I want it to function right so bad

Can anybody help me with that?

Hi,

Select Download -> Download Manager, click on "Futures and Forex historical data", click on "Open" then "Start".

Make sure you have already added the following list: Forex symbols

Thanks a lot, it worked out, but I guess the problem isnt solved yet:

once I try to change to another time period (1h for instance) it does not change to the one I want, but to Ticks, when that happens the screen shows "No quotes ..." for every currency again. If I do the download once more, it works again until I change the time period.

Seems to be some software problem actually, does anybody know better?

Yes it is a small bug that is already fixed. The next release is in few days.

Note that the downloader you are using gets only EOD data. If you want Intraday/Tick data for Forex currencies I can create a downloader for you.

Hi,

Here is the one minute data downloader: One-Minute Intraday Data for Currency Pairs

I will try to find and create a tick data downloader.
