The Irish stock exchange is the primary stock exchange in Ireland. It is based in Dublin and is owned by stock-broking firms. This ticker symbols list contains companies that are listed in the Irish stock exchange. A total of 64 symbols are available.

The list also contains the following companies' data:
Symbol 1: This field is used to store the compatible yahoo symbol name. It is the symbol name plus the following extension '.IR'. This let you use the yahoo downloader (Yahoo EOD historical quotes) to download historical quotes data for companies listed in the Irish stock exchange.
Symbol 2: This field stores the CUSIP number which is a unique number to identify a security.
Full name: The Company name.
Description: The Company activity description.
Market: The exchange that lists the company's stock.
Industry: The industry the company belongs to.
Country: Ireland
Currency: Euro
expiration date: Normally this field is used to store the expiration date of an option or a derivative security, but in the current case it is used to store the end of fiscal year month.
