Helllo. I've downloaded quantshare a few months ago but actually never got used to it. Is it possible to have it connected to brokers such as FX solution?

QuantShare can connect to any broker/data provider who supports the DDE protocol (request real time data only). No live trading.
I am not sure if FX solutions supports DDE or if they provide an API. Please contact them directly.

The real time version is currently in beta release. Please send an email to support at quantshare.com for more information.

This probably means that you broker supports DDE. In that case, you can add a DDE connection by selecting "Accounts -> Connection -> Add Connection". Check your broker for more information about DDE.

I have found that chart data are stored in a folder as ".DAT" file. Can we use it with external data base in downloader?

No sorry, it can't be used with QS. Only brokers who support DDE or have an API can be connected to QuantShare.

Trading financial instruments, including foreign exchange on margin, carries a high level of risk and is not suitable for all investors. The high degree of leverage can work against you as well as for you. Before deciding to invest in financial instruments or foreign exchange you should carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience, and risk appetite. The possibility exists that you could sustain a loss of some or all of your initial investment and therefore you should not invest money that you cannot afford to lose. You should be aware of all the risks associated with trading and seek advice from an independent financial advisor if you have any doubts.
