This example will show you some of the power and the flexibility of the Grid tool.
Download, install this item then display it using "Tools -> Grid -> Open Grid".

This item doesn't use real time data. I have created it to show you how you can access, manipulate and display QuantShare data.
This item will create a table where you can enter portfolio names. You can add as many portfolios as you want (ones you already created of course using the "Portfolio" tool). Right click on the table then select "Add Row" to add more portfolios.
When you click on "Refresh" button at the top, a script will be executed and some portfolio measures will be displayed in the corresponding cells. The currently displayed measures are: Number of open positions, equity and drawdown.

To update this portfolio measures item, select "Tools -> Grid -> Grid Editor" then in the new form, select "File -> Open".

You can read this blog post to learn more about how to create grids in QuantShare.

Trading financial instruments, including foreign exchange on margin, carries a high level of risk and is not suitable for all investors. The high degree of leverage can work against you as well as for you. Before deciding to invest in financial instruments or foreign exchange you should carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience, and risk appetite. The possibility exists that you could sustain a loss of some or all of your initial investment and therefore you should not invest money that you cannot afford to lose. You should be aware of all the risks associated with trading and seek advice from an independent financial advisor if you have any doubts.
