To display the content of a database, select Data on the main menu, and then click on Edit Databases. In "Databases" tab, you can select one database and one symbol and the grid will automatically display the content of the database for the selected symbol. You can manually update cell values, add rows (right click on the grid), add and remove fields (for custom databases). Before we continue, create a custom database, and then select this database in the "Databases" tab Let us add a field to a custom database: In the "Add/Update Fields" group-box, click on "Add Field". Type the "field name", select its "type" then click on "OK". A field can be a number or a text ("String" type). There are four types of numbers: Byte: Select this if the field values are always between 0 and 255. SmallFloat: Select this if the field values are always between -300 and 300. Float: Select this if the field values contain number higher than 300. Double: Select this if the field values contain big numbers. Let us remove a field from a custom database: To remove a field, simply click on Remove Field, select the field then click on "OK". Let us add data to custom database: To add data, right click on a grid and click on "Add Row". You can then update the date and field values. You can also add several rows with the same dates that those available in the quotes database. In order to do so, make sure your selected symbol already has data in the quotes database, then right click on the grid and click on "Add Rows (from symbol's quotes)". To update the field value of all rows, type a value near the Fill Field button then click on that button. Select a field then finally click on "OK".
