After you download an item from the sharing server, the item is automatically added in the left panel of the Download Manager. Let us say you have downloaded the "Yahoo News" item. Select this item in the left panel. In the right panel, you can see the object description and the object activity. The activity view displays the date/time executions of the downloader as well as the number of requests done and the time it took to perform them. Click on "Open" in the bottom of the right panel. The download item inputs are always located at the top of the right panel. Depending on the download item, these inputs may differ. For the "Yahoo News" item, you can select the symbols for which you will download news data. Under the input tabs, you can select the number of threads to use during the downloading process. The more threads you use the more quickly the process will be completed. This will also use more computer resources. The "Remove old data" field, when checked, instructs the application to delete old data before adding the new one. The "Replace same data" field, when checked, instructs the application to update data that correspond to an existing symbol/date. Once your inputs selected, click on "Start" button to begin the downloading process. You can stop this process, by clicking on "Stop" or "Close". The "Downloaded URLs" button displays all the URLs that were used to get data. These URLs are very helpful when debugging a download item.
