Next Earnings Release In Days

by Tom Huggens, 3711 days ago

The "LastEarningsInDays" function returns, for the analyzed stock, the number of days that remains before the next release date.

This function is capable of returning the number of days starting from the last stock's date or starting from today.

Examples:
a = LastEarningsInDays(1); // Calculation is based on today (Days to next earnings release starting from today)
a = LastEarningsInDays(0); // Calculation is based on last stock's date (Days to next earnings release starting from last stock's date)

In a watchlist, you can for example display all stocks that announced a earnings release for the next 10 days:

a = LastEarningsInDays(1);
filter = a <= 10 and a >= 0;

Note that the function requires first that you download future earnings release data using the following item: Announced Stock Earnings

Trading financial instruments, including foreign exchange on margin, carries a high level of risk and is not suitable for all investors. The high degree of leverage can work against you as well as for you. Before deciding to invest in financial instruments or foreign exchange you should carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience, and risk appetite. The possibility exists that you could sustain a loss of some or all of your initial investment and therefore you should not invest money that you cannot afford to lose. You should be aware of all the risks associated with trading and seek advice from an independent financial advisor if you have any doubts.
