This is a swing indicator that may be used during backtesting to reference swing data.
Format is: swingsim(close, threshold, type, ago);
Threshold = movement required in points to constitute a valid swing
Types are the swing metric that is to be returned, valid types include:
start: Swing start value
end: Swing end value
nb: number of bars in swing
avgprice: Swing average price
avgrange: Swing average range based on high/low
move: Swing move (positive for bullish moves and negative for bearish moves)
type: Swing type (1 for higher high, -1 for lower low and 0 otherwise)
sdv: Swing standard deviation based on price
high: Swing highest value
low: Swing lowest value
direction: Swing direction (1 for bullish and -1 for bearish)
Ago = which historical swing is being referenced. Ex, 3 would return statistics for the swing that occured three swings back in time.
