This item is used to retrieve a list of all holidays in Canada. The data is stored in the following database (holidays_canada) and is associated with the following symbol: (^Holidays_CANADA).
You can for example use the data to create some holiday-related indicators (see this link for more information: Market: Europe Holidays).

Here is an example of what your custom database will contain:
May 19 2008 - Victoria Day
Jul 01 2008 - Canada Day
Aug 04 2008 - Civic Day
Sep 01 2008 - Labour Day
Oct 13 2008 - Thanksgiving Day
Nov 11 2008 - Remembrance Day
