This item allows you to download CUSIP data for U.S. stocks. This list contains 6993 ticker symbols of companies that are listed in the NYSE, AMEX, NASDAQ and OTC exchanges. The companies' full names and the CUSIP (The Committee on Uniform Security Identification Procedure) numbers are included in the list.
The "Committee on Uniform Security Identification Procedure" is a nine-digit identification number; it is an industry code which is used to uniquely identify a security.

Symbol: ABAT - CUSIP: 00752H102 - Company name: ADVANCED BATTERY TECHS INC
Symbol: ABCO - CUSIP: 00762W107 - Company name: ADVISORY BOARD COMPANY (THE)
Symbol: ABIO - CUSIP: 00211Y100 - Company name: ARCA BIOPHARMA INC
The CUSIP stock data is stored in the "Name1" field. Select "Symbol -> Update Symbol" to see the CUSIP of the selected stock.
Here is how to perform a stock CUSIP lookup:
- Select "Symbol -> Manage Symbols"
- Click on "Select Symbols" then remove the active condition
- Add a "Symbol Info" condition then select "name1" under "Values" column
- Under "name1", type a value to search a stock by its CUSIP
Example: To display ticker symbols whose CUSIP symbol starts with "0075", type "0075*"
Find CUSIP by ticker name:
- Select "Symbol -> Symbol Information"
- Update the selected ticker (at the top, next to "Select a Symbol")
